The Naica Mine of Mexico is a mine known for its extraordinary selenite crystals. Located in Naica in the municipality of Saucillo. The crystals are essentially gypsum that has form as large as 4 feet in width and up to 50 feet long!
3. Antarctic Dy Valleys – The McMurdo Dry Valleys are a row of snow-free valleys in Antarctica located within Victoria Land west of McMurdo Sound. The region is one of the world’s most extreme deserts.
4. Spotted Lake is a saline endorheic alkali lake located northwest of Osoyoos in British Columbia. It is located near the city of Osoyoos, beside Highway 3.
5. Salt Flats of Bolivia – Salar de Uyuni (or Salar de Tunupa) is the world’s largest salt flat at just over 4000 miles!
